In loving memory of my Mamayya

I want to share something about mamayya. Amma’s brother. Amma used to call him Sundannayya. Amma used to tell about him from our childhood. When we grown up we were inspired by mamayya and took him as our role model.

He was a happy, humble, affectionate, lovely, kind, Egoless and down to earth person. He was a great scientist, advisor, mentor, awardee etc. But we couldn’t remember all these we used to feel that we were talking to Mamayya. For me he was like a saint.

Amma loved him very much. She wanted to see him but that was not possible due to covid. When we were in deep sorrow after Amma’s demise mamayya used to call me every day and console me.

He was a very active person in Avidi WhatsApp group. He was sharing pics, good news to everybody. Whatever he shared, talked that conversation was ending with ‘GOD BLESS U ALL’. He used to bless everybody by name.

He used to share about Shiva Shakthi in WhatsApp group. One day I asked Mamayya about this. He felt very happy and told me that he received this message from his friend

In this materialistic world our elders are ideal for us.

He used to appreciate my both children always by saying ‘Lakshmi, they have legacy of their Menamama’s. I used to tell mamayya Yes, they have legacy of their menamama’s and also my menamama’s. Once my elder son did him a small help. He felt very happy and used to tell everybody about these two things.

Mamayya we are missing you a lot. You will remain in all our hearts. No need to ask God ‘MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE’. It will be definitely.

My heartfelt condolences to Attayya, Uday, Haritha and all our family members. Uday you are doing great thing by performing Mamayya ‘s last rites in Avidi.

God bless u all.
